There are different "Bonuses", which you can research. Each of the bonuses, get's more and more difficult to research as your empire get's larger.

Land Squared means your Land * your Land (i.e., 1,000 Acres, 1,000,000, 10,000 Acres, 100,000,000)

Most of the bonus's are self explanatory.
  • CPU Bot Detection will detect incoming spy missions.
  • Gains Research will increase the land/money/pop you gain from successfull attacks.
  • Advanced Power Plants will allow you to build advanced power plants to replace your power plants.
  • Tactical Missiles let's you build said missiles.
  • Same for Chemical Missile.
  • Kilken Shock Troops aren't available to Kilken, this research allows you to train captured Kilken population into recruits for 100 credits a recruit.
  • Quaglu Assimilation (scis) let's you train captured Quaglu population into scientists for 650 credits (modified by your manufacturing plants %), not available to Quaglu.
  • ClusterBombs are missiles that affect an entire sector.
