Clan/Coven Lag

There are three intertwined systems of Lag associated with Covens and Clans. Coven based lag whereby if a coven has lag and the coven cannot join or leave their clan. The other is war status lag that will affect coven lag. The last type of lag is a protection lag.

Protection Lag is the simplest form of lag, and it can be set for 3, 6, or 12 hours. The clan cannot declare war or be declared on. The value displays on the scoreboard and starts when the clan is created not when a coven first joins.

Joining a clan at war will cause a six hour coven lag.

Declaring war will assign a six hour lag to all covens in the clan.

Leaving a clan via leader dude removing her own coven will add twelve hours lag to that coven.

Leaving a clan via clan leader boot is six hours lag for the coven.

Canceling a War, will block war declarations for that clan for six hours.

If you are at war, you cannot declare a second war, with exception to the following

please note, if you are already at war with any clan, and another clan declares war on you then you can counter declare even though you are at war.

Defensive Posture is worth noting, it will provide you with a variety of minor defensive bonuses, and allow you to cast sphere, but you cannot declare war while in a defensive posture. It gives bonuses for 24 hours, and cools down for six hours, then you can declare war.
